Councillor Matthew Lamb

Dr Matt Lamb has been one of the three councillors for St John Ward since May 2010. Educated at universities in Bristol, Birmingham, London, Worcester and Oxford Matt has lived or worked in Worcester for the past 15 years. He currently works in West Bromwich as Director of Central Sixth Form. Matt supports a number of campaign groups including the Campaign for State Education, the University and College Union and the Cats Protection League. Matt has a particular interest in issues surrounding education, issues of democracy and participation, and Worcester's historical heritage. As a councillor Matt works closely with his colleagues to deal with concerns over parking, policing and drawing a happy balance between permanent residents and the interests of university students living in the community.
