Election of Chair

To elect a Chair for the ensuing year.  (The Museums Shared Services Agreement stipulates that the position of Chair should be alternated between members representing different authorities.  Therefore the Chair should be a representative of Worcestershire County Council).

Appointment of Vice-Chair

To elect a Vice-Chair for the ensuing year.  (The Museums Shared Services Agreement stipulates that the position of Vice-Chair should be alternated between members representing different authorities.  Therefore the Vice-Chair should be a representative of Worcester City Council).

That the Joint Museums Committee:

 

1.       approve the Museums Worcestershire Annual Review for 2023-24; and

 

2.       note the information provided regarding performance in 2023-24 compared to previous years.

That the Joint Committee reviews the financial monitoring details including budget variances for the 4th quarter ended 31st March 2024.

1.       That the Joint Committee note the progress on plans to develop Worcestershire County Museum; and

 

2.       That the County Council members of the Joint Committee, in their role as managing committee for the Tickenhill Collection charity, approve the proposed grant application to the Clore Duffield Foundation and investigation of Exhibition Tax Relief through the charity.
