The Sub-Committee is invitedto pass the following resolution:-

ThatunderSection 100A(4)of the Local GovernmentAct1972,thepress and  public  be  excluded  from  the  meeting  for  the  following  item  of business  on  the  grounds  that  it  involves  the  likely  disclosure  of information as definedin Schedule 12Aof thesaid Act.

RESOLVED: That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and  public  be  excluded  from  the  meeting  for  the  following  item  of business  on  the  grounds  that  it  involves  the  likely  disclosure  of information as defined in Schedule 12A of the said Act.

The Sub-Committee are asked to consider a review of a licence under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003.

Exempt –not forpublicationbecausetheitem containsinformationrelating to any individualandalsorelating tothefinancial orbusiness affairsofany particularperson– categories1 and3.

The Sub-Committee were required to review a Personal Licence as the licensing authority had become aware that the licence holder had been convicted of a relevant offence.

At the hearing Members considered a report presented by the Licensing Officer and representations from the licence holder in order to decide whether to suspend or revoke the licence.

Members decided that they did not propose to revoke the licence and under the provisions of Section 132(9) of the Licensing Act 2003, the hearing was adjourned to enable the required Statutory Notice to be served on the Chief Officer of Police for the area.
